Marketing Executive – Part time

A hands on role for a marketer who likes to build, write, and ship.

Hartley People Recruitment is looking for an ambitious, driven and experienced marketer to join our team. We are a well established recruitment consultancy based in the South East, working across Permanent Recruitment, Temporary Staffing and Executive Search, with growing ambition to strengthen our brand nationally and across niche markets.

This is not a role for someone who wants to spend their week in strategy decks. We need a doer. A marketer who is confident across the digital toolkit, can produce great content themselves, and enjoys seeing their work go live.

What you will be doing

Lead generation and funnel

Build and own a lead generation funnel across our website, social, email and paid channels, designed to bring in both clients and candidates. Set up tracking, measure conversion at every stage, and continuously improve what is working.

Digital, SEO and web

Manage our WordPress website day to day, including building pages, optimising content, improving site speed and SEO performance. Run paid campaigns across LinkedIn, Meta and Google. Use GA4 and Search Console to spot what is working and double down.

Content creation

Write the blogs, articles, whitepapers, social posts and email campaigns yourself. Develop a tone of voice that resonates with both clients and candidates. Commission external content where it makes sense.

Campaigns

Plan and run multi channel campaigns from end to end, across social, email, paid and content. Track performance and report on what is landing. Iterate quickly.

Brand and collateral

Keep our brand and messaging consistent across every touchpoint. Produce sales collateral, candidate facing materials, pitch documents and event assets.

Events and partnerships

Coordinate industry events, job fairs and partner activations, from logistics through to on the day execution and follow up campaigns.

What you will bring

• Several years of hands on marketing experience across digital, content and campaigns
• Proven experience building or running lead generation funnels with measurable results
• Strong WordPress skills, comfortable building pages, managing plugins and editing CSS where needed
• SEO experience, including keyword research, on page optimisation and performance tracking
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to produce content that reads well and drives engagement
• Confident with paid media (LinkedIn, Meta, Google Ads) and email marketing platforms
• Comfortable with GA4, Search Console and pulling insight from data
• Well organised, able to run several campaigns and projects at once without dropping any
• Self starter who enjoys owning the work from end to end
