Hartley People Recruitment is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join a well-established and growing financial office on a short-term maternity leave basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised professional who thrives in a structured, regulated environment and enjoys supporting financial and administrative operations within a busy office setting.

The Role

  • Provide comprehensive day-to-day administrative support within a financial services environment
  • Handle daily office duties including filing, photocopying, scanning, and digitalising documentation
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial, legal, and client records in both physical and electronic formats
  • Ensure proper organisation and secure storage of sensitive documentation
  • Support compliance processes and ensure adherence to internal policies and regulatory standards
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining financial and legal documentation
  • Maintain accurate data entry across internal systems and databases
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timely processing of records

The Person

  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in an administrative role
  • Previous experience working with compliance processes, credit unions, or legal documentation is highly desirable
  • Strong understanding of working within regulated environments
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
